Features of Total Turf™
AS A MOISTURE MANAGEMENT AGENT
Total Turf™ encapsulates all water molecules thereby holding the moisture in the root zone for extended periods of time before leaching away. Extended presence of moisture in the root zone relieves hydrophobic soil conditions quickly, making abundant soil conditions continually for root access. Total Turf™ significantly reduces watering requirements per cycle of irrigation and still maintains ample moisture for good plant health and growth. Due to its infiltration properties excessive moisture also flows through the soil thereby avoiding conditions that promote fungal growth. It also provides proper wetting and drainage in non soil media and eliminates water repellency in potting mixes utilizing bark and peat. In container plants, it evenly distributes applied water throughout and prevents surface drying. It will improve plant survival during heat stress conditions and greatly enhance over-seeding, grown-in and sod installation. It also acts as an adjuvant for immediate foliar absorption.
AS A SOIL SURFACTANT & PENETRANT
Total Turf™ provides uniform water infiltration and penetration throughout the soil profile for easy access to the root zone. By encapsulating the water molecule, it significantly decreases surface friction allowing for easy and rapid water penetration and uniform infiltration into any soil condition; compacted or otherwise.
Localized dry spots and turf stress are immediately eliminated on hills, slopes and large open areas. Water now will flow evenly throughout the soil profile without retaining excessive moisture that causes fungi.
FOR INCREASED UPTAKE OF NUTRIENTS
Total Turf™ Increases availability of valuable and necessary micro-nutrients using special enzymes to penetrate plant tissues and cells. It quickly eliminates stress conditions and turns brown grass “green” in a matter of days.
For sports fields and golf courses, it readily extracts water from playing surfaces during heavy rains or irrigation, preventing puddling and allowing for a faster return to play.
AS A WETTING AGENT
Total Turf™ enhances flow patterns throughout the soil profile and improves the efficacy of all applied additives (pesticides, insecticides, nutrients, etc). This prevents rapid leaching of additives, increasing the applied products’ effectiveness and thereby reducing overall application quantities.
Holding organo-phosphates in the soil reduces the leaching of these toxins which significantly improves performance. Total Turf™ has a special affinity to nitrogen thereby reducing nitrate leaching which protects against groundwater contamination. Also, retaining the nitrates in the root zone longer results in faster growing, greener grass and plants.
