Water Consumption
Even if you consider that updated estimate of total Rice Mills in India at present may be lower than the figures published and taking 20 % of the mills as Parboiled or Puffed Rice mills, total number of mills using parboiling and soaking process, in India comes to around 20,000.

Now if you take the lowest possible average outflow of effluent from these mills at 50,000 Ltrs a day, (which is taken from an underground source) then the total volume of effluent (which is not even irrigation water quality) becomes a huge waste burden on the environment amounting to 1,000,000,000 Ltrs a day.

This is the water volume for 100,000,000 persons with 10 Ltrs of water consumption per day.

Think about what amount of water you can save in a month, further in a year and in long term.....

Think about the impact, if we can process and reuse this wastewater everywhere in the world, saving valuable ground water resource for the population and enviornment alike !!

This is very much possible and TGT is ready with technology to help the cause.

Save this huge amount of groundwater resource by utilizing reusable water technology.

Last but not the least TGT believes that time has come to think and act towards finding innovative ways to use surface water sources and rainwater harvesting, along with recycling and reuse in Parboiling and Puffed Rice Milling industries for sustainable growth.
